UCLG Executive Bureau Metropolis Congress & Brussels Urban Summit

The Executive Bureau, composed of 116 members from all world regions, gathers twice a year, once during the first semester, and once in the framework of the World Council towards the end of the year. The Executive Bureau is in charge of the World Organization’s administrative and financial management, and prepares the ground for the content of the meetings of the World Council. Organized over 2 or 3 days, it is also usually the occasion to organize policy debates and convene the UCLG Policy Councils. The first edition of 2023 will be organized in the framework of the Metropolis Congress and the Brussels Urban Summit, an initiative by Brussels Capital Region in collaboration with Eurocities, Metropolis and the OECD Champion Mayors for Inclusive Growth. The Brussels Urban Summit is an international urban conference that is open to all cities around the world, international organizations, local government networks, EU leaders and policy makers, urban thinkers, and practitioners, as well as stakeholders from all sectors.
