XI Metropolis World Congress - Hyderabad, India

The Association of World Metropolises will organise its 11th Metropolis World Congress in Hyderabad, India from October 6-10, 2014. The theme of this Congress is "Cities for All" and the event will focus predominantly on the role of democracy in cities. Main goals of Metropolis World Congresses are  to provide a platform for exchange between large cities (of 1 million or more inhabitants) on topics of urbanisation. Local governments and local government leaders generally attend in order to exchange with other relevant stakeholders in plenary and several parallel discussions that will be further defined as the event draws near.
